Courses and Events
By booking a course you accept the terms and conditions. These terms are subject to change. We will make every effort to notify you of any changes which will affect you, however, it is your responsibility to check these terms and conditions regularly in case there are any changes.
The courses and events run during set times and will start on time. No responsibility will be accepted by Chapter Consultants for missed time within the course or event due to the late arrival of the delegate.
Chapter reserve the right to request a delegate to leave a course or event if that delegate is abusive, violent, or unnecessarily disruptive to either other delegates, the training consultants or venue staff.
We expect all those who attend our courses and events to show respect for other delegates, the training consultants, and venue staff.
Chapter will not accept liability for loss or damage of equipment or possessions belonging to a delegate no matter how caused.
Chapter will not accept liability for loss or damage of fixtures, fittings or equipment belonging to the venue as a result of delegate actions, no matter how caused.
Course Fee and Deposit
At the time of making a course reservation Chapter will advise the delegate of (a) the course fee (b) the deposit required. For courses costing less than £50 the full course fee is due at the time of booking. All other courses require a deposit of £40.
In the unlikely event of Chapter cancelling a course or event, deposits are fully refundable.
If a delegate withdraws from a course or event with more than three weeks remaining before the course or event commences, a full refund of the deposit will be given.
If a delegate makes a cancellation within three weeks of the commencement of the course or event, the deposit is not refundable.
Any cancellation of attendance by the delegate must be in writing.
Money Back Guarantee (or future free course if preferred by the delegate) non transferable
Our unique Money Back or free course Guarantee applies solely to an Assessment Centre Preparation Course delivered by Chapter (Join999). We undertake to reimburse the entire course fee of £349, or provide a free future Assessment Centre Preparation Course to any delegate who, after attending one of our Assessment Centre Preparation Courses, fails the live Assessment Centre by failing to reach the minimum required overall percentage pass mark. This guarantee does not apply where a candidate attains the minimum required percentage pass mark but fails the live Assessment Centre for any other reason.
In order to qualify for this refund or free course, delegates must notify Chapter of their intent to seek a refund or free course within seven days of receiving their notification of failure from the Force to which they have applied.
The original notification relating to failure at the Assessment Centre together with the original Assessment Centre Feedback Matrix must be made available to Chapter within 14 days of receiving their notification of failure. (Photocopies will not be accepted).
Delegates seeking a refund or free course should be aware that all supporting evidence of failure at the Assessment Centre will be checked for its authenticity with the Force to which they have applied. In order for Chapter to contact Police Forces to carry out these checks, delegates who are seeking a refund or free course will be required to complete and sign an Information Disclosure Form allowing us access to this information. When the transaction has been completed, all original documentation will be returned to the delegate.
Delegates should also be aware that timescales in relation to the refund process may vary due to Police Force response times.

All course materials will be supplied by Chapter Consultants and are subject to copyright.
The delegate undertakes not to copy, distribute, transmit, re-transmit, broadcast, modify or show in public any part of the supplied material without the prior written consent of Chapter Consultants.
